Oxygen Spa

Temporarily Closed

Oxygen is vital to our life force. The oxygen we breathe is becoming increasingly polluted. This is why many enjoy supplementing with great smelling, clean oxygen.

What Is An Oxygen Bar/Spa?

If you have ever been to Las Vegas, I’m sure you have seen an oxygen bar. In fact, The Luminary uses the same brand you often see in Vegas but is set up more like an oxygen spa with relaxing chairs to sit back and put your feet up. The oxygen you’ll receive is recreational, non-medical oxygen and is not stored in pressurized canisters, so it is completely safe.

The air we breathe contains about 21% oxygen, the rest is nitrogen, argon, and other trace gases. The oxygen spa uses a concentrator specifically made for oxygen spa use and a NASA-created filter that removes all of that other stuff, so you get to breathe in 90-92% pure oxygen–allowing you to breathe 4-5x the normal amount of ambient oxygen and get a little boost.

You breathe the oxygen in through a small tube (non-medical Nasal Cannula) passed through an oxygen delivery station where you can choose from up to 4 different oxyaromas or scents. Then all you need to do is sit back and breathe. Inhale, exhale.

Aromatherapy is a safe and healthy way to utilize the power of scent to help relax or improve mood. *If you’re looking for aromatherapy options at home, The Luminary promotes the use of Doterra essential oil products and is happy to chat with anyone seeking more information.

Oxyaromas used in the oxygen spa are water-based, non-toxic, all-natural solutions created from a water-soluble pure herbal extract and concentrated blends for use with oxygen bar equipment. There are no chemicals, preservatives or additives.

Ingredients: purified sterilized water, herbal extracts, and plant-based color.

It seems a bit strange at first…. after all, oxygen is all around us. And the fact that you’re still alive and kicking means you’re getting enough, right? Science shows that increasing the oxygenation level in your body has a lot of benefits. It’s the secret to a young, fresh appearance, healthy cell composition, mental alertness, increased physical stamina and boosting your immune system. Athletes and celebrities have been enjoying oxygen’s benefits for years.

Virtually everybody could use more oxygen for overall well-being and to relieve stress. Studies have shown that individuals in certain circumstances can definitely benefit from oxygenating their bodies. People who live in polluted cities, detoxifying their bodies, trying to lose weight, suffer from migraine or headaches, allergy sufferers, athletes, body-builders, frequent flyers, people who require maximum mental alertness and people who need extreme physical stamina and endurance can benefit from oxygen.

Breathing higher concentrations of oxygen has several benefits; the most reported benefits are increased energy, an uplifted refreshed feeling, clearing of the mind, relief of toxic headaches such as the hangover, relief of stress and promotion of higher concentration levels. Oxygen is also a proven detoxifier and has anti-aging properties.

The oxygen in oxygen spas comes from self-contained machines called oxygen concentrators (non-medical), not high-pressure cylinders, so our products are completely safe. All the oxygen spa equipment is compliant with the FDA and is CSA and CE approved. These non-medical concentrators use a technology called Pressure Swing Adsorption, a NASA created technology that filters out nitrogen, argon and other trace gasses from the ambient air. This technology then puts the separated oxygen molecule to 92% purity to the recipient

There are no risks and no adverse effects with the short-term use of Oxygen. The American Lung Association has said that breathing oxygen from an Oxygen Spa for less than 30 minutes (one oxygen spa session) has no harmful effects and there is no evidence that oxygen used in spas can be dangerous to a normal person’s health.
